Goal:
To help parents in the discipleship of their pre-teen/teen. To help students see the beauty of King Jesus, maximizing Him, and minimizing the fleeting pleasure of this world. To help students rejoice in the gospel, worship Christ in community, and to equip them to make disciples.
Ministries:
· Sunday School (Sunday 9:30am-10:30am) – Weekly take-home questions and reading assignments based on the text of the previous week’s sermon, emphasis on prayer for lost people and for God to be glorified in us.
· Sunday Morning (Sunday 10:40am-12:00pm) – Main worship gathering, worshipping Jesus with family.
· Tuesday Youth nights at 6 PM – Teaching of the Bible book-by-book, small group discussions and fellowship, meals provided each week by our church members.
Events:
Winter Retreat, summer camps, DNow, youth trips, senior commissioning, FCA at TMS and LHS, student equipping class, parent equipping class.
Service:
Mission trip to Navajo Reservation, other potential mission trips, help lead kids classes on Wednesday and Sunday, serve the elderly in the church, mentor younger students at school, help clean up a neighbor’s yard/house, etc.
